Moonbliss and Folding Trio

Moonbliss and Folding Trio team up for an evening of original contemporary jazz and improvised music. Folding Trio features Steven Noronha (piano), Keon Narinesingh (bass) and Aiden McConnell (drums) playing collective compositions and improvisations. Moonbliss is the brainchild of bassist Julian Anderson-Bowes, and features Chris Pruden (synth/piano), Leland Whitty (saxophone) and Eric West (drums) playing new and old songs written by him through a process of collaboration with the band lasting from fall of 2021 to the present. Lush, dense synth textures meet angular and propulsive grooves meet soaring melodies and swirling collective improvisations. The band goes into the studio the next day!
