The Rowan Farintosh Quartet @The Tranzac

Rowan Farintosh is an award winning saxophonist and composer originally hailing from Victoria, BC. December 10th marks his first show in Toronto as a Bandleader since moving in September. Rowan is primarily a jazz musician, however also takes inspiration from contemporary genres like hip-hop, funk, R&B, ambient, and progressive rock. Through this diverse set of musical interests, Rowan composes music based in Jazz improvisation that is accessible to people with a wide variety of musical taste.
