Tania Gill Presents: The Titillators

The Titillators create odd, unique, mysterious, and fun music by way of whistling, synthesizers, an assortment of percussion objects, and Driver’s homemade “streetsweeper bristle bass,” which is simply a small tine of metal plucked on top of an amplified cigar box. The Titillators are focused on playing an eclectic and growing collection of new tunes by Ryan Driver which embrace, allude to, and/or playfully subvert jazz and other historically popular musics. The Titillators new LP That's The Night has just been released on vinyl on Tin Angel Records and there will be copies available at this show.
