Rebecca Hennessy is an award-winning trumpeter, singer and composer. She has an inviting, clear and warm vocal and trumpet style that has been celebrated on her 2020 album, “All The Little Things You Do”. Her new album, Joy Will Find Us, is a continuation of her story from the last album, exploring themes of hope, healing and new life. Rebecca’s original music travels through roots, jazz and Americana sounds and her band, Makeshift Island, features world-acclaimed and celebrated musical voices: Kevin Breit (Sister’s Euclid, Johnny Goldtooth, Norah Jones); Drummer, Dave Clark (Rheostatics, Gord Downie), Bassist Michael Herring (Peripheral Vision), and Tania Gill (Happiness Project).
