Howard Gladstone Band are back at the Tranzac, this month with special guest singer/songwriter Lynn Harrison.
Howard Gladstone performs his unique original folk/roots songs with flavours of blues/jazz/world and other sounds, accompanied by a great group: Tony Quarrington (guitars, vocal), Laura Fernandez (vocal, piano), Bob Cohen (bass) and Ambrose Pottie (drums). Themes range from reflections on life and the human condition, to quirky and often light-hearted tunes on themes such as particle physics, James Joyce,and insights from world travel.
Performing songwriter Lynn Harrison does a guest set. Lynn is known for beautifully memorable songs that celebrate life, love and the human spirit. In 2023 she released her 7th album, "Treasure," is "better than medicine...will put you in a good mood if you're not" (Americana Highways), and her previous record "Something More" (2020) ranked among Folk Routes Radio's Top 20. Creating heartfelt connections with every audience, Lynn offers uplifting and insightful music for complicated times.
Howard performs at the Tranzac first Sunday of (most)every month with his band, and special guests. This is a pay what you can event, with $10 + suggested. We look forward to having you join us on April 7.
