Peter Zummo Octet + Dun-Dun Trio + Masahiro Takahashi

"Minimalism plus a whole lot more."

Zummo worked closely with cellist/composer Arthur Russell for over a decade, forging an unmistakable connection expressed in many of their respective works. A brief list of other collaborators includes The Lounge Lizards, Pauline Oliveros, Phill Niblock, Arnold Dreyblatt, Elodie Lauten, Kid Creole, Jon Gibson, Vernon Reid, and "Blue" Gene Tyranny. Pitchfork called Zummo's music “the sound of sublimity…that sends shivers down the nervous system”.

with special guests:

Dun-Dun Trio - Odd-time, unison riff medleys by Craig Dunsmuir (electric guitar), Josh Cole (electric bass), and Jay Anderson (electronic hand percussion).

Masahiro Takahashi - Spellbinding works of electronic abstraction with a delicate touch.
