Masahiro Takahashi presents Cha-no-yu

Cha-no-yu is a gathering of music producers, improvisers, and listeners held from 21:30 to 23:30 every third Friday at Tranzac Southern Cross. The series showcases a performance by an invited collaborator and Masahiro Takahashi, as well as a performance by a curated guest musician. Inspired by the pioneering spirit of producers like Haruomi Hosono, Jim O'Rourke, and Joe Meek, the series focuses on experimental pop, ambient, new-age, and electronic pop.
