Dirtywood careens off the greasy New Orleans tinged soul of Dave Clark’s Woodshed Orchestra and into the often frenetic and definitely eclectic psychedelic Klezmer stained music of Myk Freedman and his Saint Dirt band. Add left of centre fielder Michael Herring of Peripheral Vision and the effervescent Rebecca Hennessy of Makeshift Island into the gumbo and good times ensue indeed!
