Copernicus

Copernicus is a new composition by Paul Newman. It combines elements of performance and sound installation and lasts from sunrise to sunset on the Winter solstice. Copernicus is quiet, contemplative and minimalist in nature. The musicians who will play all the way through the shortest day are: Brian Abbott, guitar; Sara Constant, flute; Naomi McCarroll-Butler, clarinet; Paul Newman, computers and tenor saxophone; Jamie Thompson, flute.
