Celebrating Marc Roy

On July 25, Toronto’s musical community lost one of its own. Marc Roy was an inspired guitar player, a great singer, a devoted father, and our dear friend. At age 39, Marc had spent decades amazing audiences with his bluegrass guitar wizardry, and touching lives with his warm heart, sweet smile, and generous spirit.
On Wednesday, September 13, Marc’s musical community will remember him the way he would want to be remembered, through music. Please join us in the Tranzac Club’s Main Hall for an evening of songs and tunes Marc loved, played by musicians who loved him right back. We’ll feature a series of groups performing, followed by a big ol’ jam.
A night to remember, for a friend we’ll never forget.
