Strangetooth is a Toronto based bluegrass band known for their rich vocal harmonies, stellar picking, and eclectic song choices. While steeped in tradition, playing classics from first generation bluegrass pioneers such as Bill Monroe, The Stanley Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, and many more, They pepper in carefully selected, lesser known gems from more recent bluegrass greats, such as Larry Sparks, Norman Blake, Don Rigsby, as well as bluegrass adjacent songs from the likes of Tom Paxton or John Hartford, even adopting rock-n-roll tunes from Buddy Holly, or Ricky Nelson. Strangetooth features Adam Shier (guitar and vocals), Dave Lang (bass), Logan McNeil (mandolin, vocals), Matt Elwood (banjo, vocals), Rob Fenton (dobro, vocals).
