Thanks to the amazing efforts of people like you – members, donors, volunteers, staff, and board of directors – and all the performers who gave their time and talents to our fundraising events, over $35,000 was raised in just under 4 months to help keep the TRANZAC alive and operating through the winter.
Your generous contributions not only kept the doors open, they also shone a media spotlight on just how vital the TRANZAC is to so many people – and the diversity that finds a home here.
It’s been inspiring to witness the outpouring of enthusiasm and energy that’s made this possible, and we hope that with your continued help, we can make 2011 a truly exciting year for the TRANZAC!
Priorities for the months ahead include:
- Building renovations and upgrades
- Boosting our fundraising and volunteer capacity
- Expanded programming
But we can’t do it without you. The emergency fundraising campaign may be over, but there are still lots of ways to get involved in the TRANZAC – starting with becoming a member, if you’re not already! If you’d like to sign-up for monthly donations, or make a one-time contribution, it’s easy to do online from the PayPal links at the right.
